Safeguarding - Promoting a Safer Environment

The care and protection of children, young people and adults involved in our activities is the responsibilityof everyone.

If you are concerned that someone is at risk of, or is being abused, or presents a risk to others, please seek advice from a Safeguarding Adviser or if necessary report the matter to the Local Authority Social Care Services or the Police without delay.

Safeguarding Policy

The Cross-Links Dover Board of Trustees has adopted the safeguarding practice of the Church of England[1], as an organisation in relationship with the Diocese of Canterbury[2].  In accordance with the Church of England Safeguarding Policy Cross-Links Dover is committed to:

All staff and volunteers will agree to abide by this policy and the guidelines established by Cross-Links Dover.

The trustees appoint Nigel Collins as the Safeguarding Officer.

This Policy was adopted on 10th April 2019 and is subject to annual review.
